Dr. Parker Wentz, D.D.S., M.S.
Dr. Wentz grew up in Lubbock, Texas, where he was surrounded by a family legacy of orthodontic excellence — five orthodontists strong! Inspired by his family’s passion for transforming smiles, Dr. Wentz knew early on that he wanted to continue that legacy of care and connection.
He attended Abilene Christian University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology while playing Division I basketball and setting the school record for three-point shooting. During his senior year, he married his college sweetheart, Haley Hutchens. Following his undergraduate studies, Dr. Wentz earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from UT Health San Antonio, graduating with honors before pursuing his Master’s in Orthodontics at Seton Hill University Center for Orthodontics in Greensburg, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Wentz is a Board-Certified Orthodontic Specialist, a distinction achieved by fewer than 30% of orthodontists nationwide. He earned the highest score in the country on his final board examination — a testament to his dedication and skill.
Outside the office, Dr. Wentz enjoys spending time with Haley and their three boys, coaching youth basketball and football, hunting, skiing, and reading. Deeply rooted in faith, he stays active in his church, Redeemer Lubbock, where he serves in various ministries.
Dr. Wentz believes in treating the person before the smile, guided by the verse, “A cheerful heart brings a smile to your face.” — Proverbs 15:13a. His goal is to make every patient feel valued, appreciated, and confident — inside and out.
